The eReceipt tag and the system behind it are protected by granted patents and registered designs. Intellectual property rights are territorial, so this register states, for each right, exactly what is protected, where, and its status. Where our products, packaging or pages are marked as patented, they refer to this page.

On the word “patented”. The method is patented in South Africa. Outside South Africa the tag is protected as a registered design in the territories listed above, and the United States design application is pending. We do not claim a granted United States patent, and no ConsumeX product is marked as patented in a territory where a right has not been granted.
