These terms govern the use of this website. They are not a supply agreement. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and no order, price or lead time is binding until it is confirmed in writing by ConsumeX.

The information on this site
We take care that what is published here is accurate at the time of publishing. Product specifications, capabilities, capacities and availability change, and descriptions on this site are a general description of what we do rather than a specification of what you will receive.
Where a figure appears on this site — a volume, a capacity, a count of touch points — it is our own measure unless a source is named alongside it. Where an external source is used, it is cited.
Nothing here is a quotation. A quotation is a document we issue to you, for a stated specification, quantity, price, currency and validity period. Only that document, or a signed supply agreement, creates obligations between us.
Sending us an enquiry
When you use the enquiry form you agree that the details you send are accurate, and that you are authorised to send them on behalf of the organisation you name. We handle what you send in accordance with our privacy notice.
We aim to answer every enquiry within one business day. That is a service commitment about how we work, not a contractual term, and it does not apply to public holidays in South Africa.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, layout, photographs, diagrams and code — belongs to ConsumeX or is used with permission, and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our written consent. You may print or save pages for your own internal evaluation of ConsumeX as a supplier.
The ConsumeX name, the ConsumeX logo and the eReceipts name are marks used by ConsumeX. Patents and registered designs relating to the eReceipt tag are listed, with their numbers, territories and status, at consumex.co.za/patents. Rights are territorial: a right listed for one territory says nothing about any other.
Links to other places
This site links to other websites, including our own applications and third-party manufacturers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. A link is not an endorsement.
Availability
We do not promise that this website will be available without interruption or free of error. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. None of that affects an agreed supply arrangement, which is governed by its own terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, ConsumeX is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of this website or from reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 where it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The version published here at the time you use the site is the version that applies.
